BangZoom! Voice Acting Workshop Day 2 - I do not suck.

Sunday, March 25th, was the Intermediate BangZoom! Voice Acting workshop. I had attended the Beginners workshop the previous day and Tony Oliver, the one heading the workshop, gave me quite a few compliments on my voice acting. From the first day, I gathered

It's okay - I don't want to live here, either. XD You'd have a better "in" in LA anyway, since Tony knows you. But seriously, there's work in NY. NYAV Post dubs anime, and I know some people who do voicework there for Rockstar Games. You don't have to move to get into anime.

And of course you're not terrible. What have we been telling you all this time?

I mean, I know I'm not THAT bad, but I don't think I'm OUTSTANDING. I'm aware I can reach a pitch that a lot of other people can't, but other than that, what about me is so special? So it really helps and it was really reassuring that a professional that's been acting on stage and as a voice actor told me that I have a talent. I'm aware I'm not bad, but I still don't see myself as any better than KawaiiAnimeBabyGirl30718345 who can do cute voices as well (and probably doesn't have the social anxieties that I do).
