Apologies #1.

Jan 05, 2011 00:19

I only care enough to subscribe to about 5 or 6 people on YouTube. I was watching a video diary of one of the dudes I'm subscribed to (David Spates, HE'S HILARIOUS and I love his video diaries) and he was talking about how his wife told him that he should try to be a better person and go back and apologize to some people he might have wronged in the past. I think this is a good idea, and it gives me a reason to post in my LJ!

I would like to apologize to this boy named Jonathon. It was the first grade. Our class was walking in the hallway, and the boy, Jonathon, turned around and asked me if he could borrow... something of mine. An eraser or a ruler. I said, "Ummm.... no." And a couple of girls walking behind me saw this and laughed.

I didn't mean it that way. That just came out wrong. I said "Ummm" because I was thinking about it. My mother, for whatever reason, doesn't like me loaning pencils or whatever out to other people. She says they should have their own. So I was thinking about what my mother said. So then I said no. I didn't have anything against the kid and I wasn't really trying to be mean, but the way I said it sounded like a stuck-up female dog going, "UMMM HOW 'BOUT NO?" in the face of this nice boy. Jonathon was a small boy, very nice, wore glasses, but he got picked on a lot. I should have said yes, despite what my mother said. I didn't mean it the way it came out, but I'd still like to apologize, because I did embarrass him (unintentionally) in front of those random two girls who were nearby. I'm sorry, Jonathon.

GUYS, DON'T LEAVE ME HANGING, POST YOUR APOLOGIES TOO. ): Here in the comments or in your own LJ, don't leave me to confess my sins on my own! T__T

It's nearly time for bed, so this is only my first post. I'll post another apology tomorrow or something.
