Ah... don't be too hard on yourself. :) It's always good to enter those kind of challenges to improve yourself. :)

So I'm counting on you for the next round and of course... the comeback round. ;)

- Mac and Peyton look grey and pale. In general, it just doesn't look like much was done other than cropping.
- not enough contrast in the icon - the subjects don't really stand out
- unflattering crop, no coloring
- doesn't look like anything was done to it

Sure thing. :)

- Too much red in her face, and and the font is really difficult to read.
- The coloring is too dark and red, and the crop is kinda boring.

+ Very nice coloring, and I like how soft Stella looks, though sharpening her face would help the icon even more.
