I thought the film was mediocre - and not because of the differences from the book, but because of the dialogue and the plotting. Shame really, as bits of it worked really well.

I re-read the book recently, and really must write up my thoughts on stories and how they are portrayed in it.

Just saw the movie this evening: anything with that much of Clare Danes in it has to be fun. A great date movie, you should take artw; we can babysit. :-)
Haven't read the book, or indeed any Neil Gaiman yet, but I shall now.
