I have the first five Lensman books by E.E. "Doc" Smith - Triplanetary, First Lensman, Galactic Patrol, Grey Lensman and Second Stage Lensmen. I have read the first three, but have no intention of rereading them or of reading the other two. All five are therefore on offer to the first person who expresses an interest in them.

Well I'd be keen, but I think the postage to Australia might make it a prohibitive idea.

So I take it that they're not worth me reading, then?

(I tried reading Triplanetary some years ago, but gave up since a) I wasn't sixteen and b) SF has come along quite a way since the 1930s)

Try the first few chapters of Galactic Patrol. If you don't like that then run away.
