Slept really badly last night - I thought at the time due to having had too heavy a lunch yesterday. Still, made it into town in time for Very Important Meeting at 9. Then went to the office, but rapidly realised that I just wasn't up to it and baled out before midday. Have spent most of the time since then in bed, and so will miss a work dinner

That's your good karma for the day. Quick query around the office you might be able to help with: are the PSNI still out in Kosovo working with the local police force?

Apparently not. The PSNI web page is clearly a couple of years out of date, and the House of Commons reports in para. 127 here that there are no more PSNI officers in Kosovo.
