Google Earth is great, but I notice a few limitations - in particular, the overlay of borders doesn't always exactly match the reality on the ground. Here, for instance, is a screenshot of the Albanian/Macedonian border on the south-eastern shore of Lake Ohrid (40°54'41" N, 20°44'27"E):

Pretty awesome. Too bad the satellite maps of Belfast aren't all that detailed.

Yes, it is a shame; likewise for where I live and work now. It's a bit random as to what exactly is displayed and what isn't!

Well it's still in beta and they should be rolling out more places when they go to the final version.

[PS if you are bored, go look at the west end of the runways at Dublin Airport to see that the detailed maps do pick up the oddest things ;O)]
