Ty is certainly of Mexican descent on his mother's side, but I don't know whether he identifies as Mexican-American/Latino/Hispanic.

A story is told in the comments on this File770 post where Ty Franck identifies as Hispanic, in response to the same claim Nicholas is tracking: http://file770.com/?p=35340

(I tried posting this before, and it was marked as spam, so I'm going to try again without hyperlinks.)

Ann Aguirre self-describes as a white woman married to a Mexican. (Google "Ann Aguirre race relations")

On the other hand, she and her Mexican husband Andres Aguirre have published books together under the pseudonym of A. A. Aguirre, so Andres Aguirre counts as a Hispanic SF author, and would be somewhere in the middle of your pack.

Note that this "hispanic" is actually of Italian descent, and changed the spelling of his name to a more "hispanic" sound. He also took a sci fi convention yo court. The upshot was he got a document saying he isnravist - instead of just not acting like a racist. What a turd.
