I enjoyed that review, but one line made me groan: "For Clara to leave Coal Hill at 5.16pm she is presumably supervising an after-school club or in-school homework, or else the clock is as broken as the TARDIS's navigation system appeared to be in the 1960s." Do people really still believe that schoolteacher's working days normally end at the same time as those of their pupils?

Hello! I inferred that Clara was still supervising pupils shortly before 5.16pm, as she is seen grabbing her bike gear and there are still uniformed kids around as she leaves. If she had been dealing with vast amounts of paperwork, lesson-planning or dealing with some box-ticking exercise, this would be more normal for 5.16pm.
