If you really want to know, I will be publishing the true story of what happened to Susan (and what her other two surnames were) in a short while. All loose ends will be tied up.

I quite enjoyed this one as well. It's been a while since I've read it, but I remember coming away from the book feeling like it was a good, solid, continuation for Susan.

Is it ever definitively established that Susan is actually of the Doctor's race (with multiple hearts, funny body temperature, etc.). My suspicion is that she is actually the human daughter of some pals of the Doctor who got killed in some pre-TV adventure, with him adopting her out of possible guilt at bringing about their death.
