I've still not read the two Peel 8th Doctor/Dalek stories (I picked them up out of sequence - I'll get back to them!)

My problem with the 8th Doctor/Sam books is that I always found Sam a rather difficult character to like; in particular she seems to be portrayed as the stereotyped bullying environmentalist. Actually I think they BBC range generally have a problem with the portrayal of the female companions but that's a discussion for when you've read them all!
