I ... but ...

What? How can this be in any way legally justifiable?

I'm completely gobsmacked.

It's bad enough (and completely unacceptable) they denied access to the partner, but the children? I mean, she'd legally adopted them! How could the hospital deny them the chance to say goodbye to their mother? And how could a judge say they were right to do so?

There are no words.

Easy, the hospital people seem to be righteous bigots, and so does the judge.

I find it amazing that such people can walk through life and never once realize that they are scum.

apparently the judge is not - he seems to have agreed that it was outrageous but been stuck with a legal inability to come to any other conclusion - he asked the defendants to put in another claim before some date before he called the case closed..

Thanks for that Kate.

I let my righteous indignation get the better of me and pre-judged the judge...
