Gosh... the insight! Next: the Olympics as politics...

We evolved a pretty good record of guessing which three countries each country put top - the Balkan vote, the (former) USSR vote, the Scandinavian vote. I guess the UK has a long way to go to be forgiven for Iraq.

You managed to live through the whole thing and come out a sane person ?!? I don't envy you. I avoided the thing, as it gets worse and worse over the years (for as far as that would still be possible). And I'm behind on reading these entries, have been working on an thriller for the last few weeks. I've heard from Dutch publishers they want thrillers/crime books from Dutch/Flemish writers 'cause the rights to English and American books are becoming too expensive.
