Long weekend in Ireland

Sleep somewhat disrupted, but for those of you who saw me in Dublin at the weekend, the explanation of what I was doing there (and why I wasn't there for very long) is this: I was giving the keynote speech at this event in Limerick on Saturday morning.

Truly, I don't take Ryanair even the shortest distance any more, unless it makes no difference whether I get to my destination 48 hours late.

I unfortunately have to fly Ryanair later this month - it's the only way I can get from Bristol to the west of Ireland directly. I've managed to avoid the dubious pleasure thus far, but I hate them already - as I don't have an EU passport, I have to pay extra to check in at the airport.

Ryanair? yowch! Would have more sympathy though if you hadn't got to go to P-con. *is jealous*
