Wow, I cannot think of two less-peas-in-a-pod than Castiel and Faith. And yet, Cas made a joke! OMG!!

Faith in the Supernatural universe would be so awesome. So. Awesome. Regularly ruffling Dean's feathers. And he'd be all, 'HEY!" and yet turned on and then "HEY!" and grumpy and stompy and then totally fall in love with her and moon about for awhile because he is so very stunted.

Meanwhile, Sam slowly beats his head against the wall because omg, two of them.

I wonder where she goes next and I wonder if anyone called called - if there's anyone left to call - when she died.

Obviously I liked this story A LOT.

There wouldn't be any need to call a new Slayer since Buffy and Willow (with Faith's help) activated all potential Slayers during Chosen (BTVS Finale) and there are now several thousand active Slayers in the world.

But I liked this story a LOT!

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

I can totally see the Faith-Dean dynamic. But I also think it would be wicked funny if she and Sam fell for each other (cause deep down he'd like to fuck Dean). And I also think it would be awesome if she and Castiel went on a road trip of their own. And part of me wants to write it ALL THREE WAYS. (No, I didn't say all threeways.)

I hadn't thought about the calling issue!

Your Faith voice is fantastic, and I enjoyed her constant inner inventory of all the things she wasn't expecting to find in Hell. Castiel is a stoic counterpoint to her fever fueled turmoil.

I loved Faith taking a leak and finally coming to the realization that she is, indeed, alive. Willing her heart to stop to thwart the apocalypse is a great testament to Faith's determination.

This in voice response to Castiel's pompous little pronouncement gave me a laugh: "Warrior?" repeats the tall one.

"Lord?" echoes Faith.

"Impugn?" says the smartass.

The last line is wonderful. Faith adding to Sam and Dean's drama paints an intriguing picture. She'd never stop giving Dean shit. I love that idea.
