Drabble and plea: G/X, post "Chosen"
You know what drives me crazy? When I sign up for a ficathon and then don't mark in my memories any of the important information about fic length, where to post, etc. etc.
I do remember my day, but that's about it. Help a girl out? Anyone signed up for the Giles/Xander ficathon? Point me in the right direction, please?
Here's a little warmup, using the open_on_sunday prompt, Word:
"This is one of the trickiest known demon languages," Giles says. "Few can make head or tail of it, even the Council's most talented experts."
Xander nods. "Not even your most cunning linguists, you're telling me."
Giles fixes him with a reproving look.
"Do go on."
"This word. It either refers to death by slow disembowelment ..." Giles leans in, peering at the text.
Xander follows his lead, despite his complete uselessness with languages beginning with English. He tries not to let Giles's nearness distract him. "Yeah? Or?"
"Or sparkly rainbows." Laughing softly, Giles draws him in for a slow kiss.
