I love how this developed the bromance, and how actually, Jason knows he's done bad, but he's not all bad, and he does respect Jim even though he knows that he can also be an arse :)

I'm glad this worked- I didn't want to write St. Jim and the Evil Cupcake, because that would be horribly dull. I wanted everyone to have developed a sense of perspective about life outside school.

He just appeared in the sequel to this and I was trying to figure out why they'd gotten to be friends, when he sprouted backstory! Characters are sneaky that way.
