felicia, make sure it goes on the lightest part of your hair first.. then put it on your roots... then put it on the most pourous part of your hair which would be the end of the hair... then put it on the SHAFT
then it will be all even! <3 love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
If you want the highlights to come out the best.. Put the highlights in your hair. Foil them. Then dye your hair the color you want around it. Toners can be amazing things. If I dye my hair black, and use a purple toner, my hair has a purple sheen to it. So if your hair is brown, and you use a red toner, it'll have a red sheen. Good luck!
now im even more confused about the whole toner thing.. i see what you mean about the brown and red thing... but what about the white blonde that i want? do i use a toner to help lift the color out of my hair and make it more white with the innocent ivory stuff she's talking about?
and if i did want to use a red toner for the brown--i would have to watch out for the blonde parts...right? and vise versa with the white toner and the darker parts?
