Fade [Veronica Mars Fanvideo] Collab with Lori
I heard this song a while back, and it instantly got me thinking about Veronica Mars. I've been wanting to make a Veronica Mars cast video for so long now, and with the Movie on the horizon I felt I could really get some inspiration flowing.
It didn't pan out too well. The song was perfect, but I just couldn't focus on it.
So I started thinking about maybe doing a brain collab with someone, if only to get ideas.
Then I got the most brilliant ideas in the history of ideas, ask lolilie to make it with you.
Except I was super nervous about it. Cause I look up to her so so much, and am in awe of everything she makes, so why would she agree to do a collab with little ol me? Lets just say I'm super happy I didn't let my nervousness get in the way of asking her. Because she agreed.
My first video collab EVER and I couldn't have asked for a more inspiring person to do it with. Her work is amazing, and I'm captivated by everything she does even if I'm not familiar with the fandom.
Here's where I list some of my favorites:

So I don't watch any of these shows. But they way Lori portrayed these women was so beautiful. I've probably watched this video at least 70 times (No exaggeration)

Again, I don't watch the show, but this video made me really want to check it out. The song has been used so often, but Lori really has a way of editing to this amazing rhythm that makes it seem like you're hearing it for the first time.

Again, her use of clips to match a rhythm AND the song is brilliant.
You Found Me
Fandom: Multi-Fandom
This showcases Lori's talent so wonderfully. That she was able to take all these fandoms that are different genres/themes and transition them so flawlessly. That's envious inspiring editing right there.

The Ghosts That We Knew
Fandom: Downton Abbey
Again, this a show I don't watch, because I tend to lean more towards comedies when I decide I'm gonna watch something new. Even after my entire f-list lights up with discussion about this show I never truly was interested in watching it until Lori made this. Now It's on the top of my list for summer viewing.
Now that you know of her amazing talent, onto the COLLAB!!!
I don't think I've ever had an easier time editing. Feeding off of her brilliant peices made the entire process so much fun. I am so honored to have worked with her. HERE'S TO FUTURE COLLABS!
