You shouldn't be! People write meta everyday and that's honoured. Imo this is indeed pure meta, it's deep and true and I'm honestly glad you think you can't write down your thoughts if you're always gonna vid them. :D

You deserve better than a season 8 comparison, but I can't help but bring up season 8 because I see this vid and season 8 trying to do the same thing: a compare/contrast that shows that Angel falls short when it comes to Buffy, and that she obviously has bet on (and space frakked with) the wrong vampire. You're not the only one who gets sick of Bangel in season 3 - I can only watch a limited number of season 3 episodes without reverting to "colorful commentary" as I call it

after all this positive feedback I'm begining to wonder why I was so afraid to post this lol.

I guess a part of me wasn't sure if people thought I was trying to compare the two relationships, which in a way I am, but beings I think Angel and Spike are two completely different characters with only a few aspects in common (love of Buffy, vampire, soul) I would never try to compare them. What I was trying to do with this was show the difference between two VERY different relationships.

Also, I thought all the Bangels would gang up on me

Oh, MAN. I have been anticipating this vid, and I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED. Flawless. Stunning. Illustrates the two gorgeously. And I don't get an anti-Bangel/Angel vibe off it at all. If anything, I think the B/A stuff is appropriately tragic and poignant. I can feel for it.

My favourite part is quite possibly: I will watch/ I will follow. Breaks my heart. Perfect summation.

I always try to challenge myself when it comes to video making because with all the vidders out there now-a-days it's hard making something that hasn't already been done. Which is why now I'm taking an obvious girl/guy romantic song and trying to vid it to something completely unrealted to romance. Wish me luck! lol

Oh, you are definitely a standout vidder. At least, in Spike/Buffy fandom - you actually get the essence of the ship, without over-romanticizing them. That's difficult to find.
