Patch!
In the last few hours Microsoft released an emergency patch, to address a critical vulnerability within Internet Explorer.
Its extremely unusual for such patches to be released outside the the normal "patch Tuesday" cycle, and is a reflection of the severity of the issue. The vulnerability came to light following a number of high profile coordinated ( Read more... ) -

Microsoft Security Essentials
Microsoft today released their free security suite - Security Essentials.
This has been in development for some time, and should go some way to ensuring that no-one has any excuse for not running up to date antivirus - something that's critical nowadays.

Whilst discussing possible team outings that are a bit different to the standard meal / bowling, one of the chaps (a chapess in fact) on my team suggested colonic irrigation as a viable option.
