They all seem to have their pros and cons. Surrogacy, like you said, can be problematic because the carrier may become too attached... on the other hand if the issue isn't that the parties involved aren't producing working eggs/sperm but rather the problems are further up the line, like there is a reason an embryo can't implant itself into the walls of your uterus, surrogacy is the one way to produce a child that's actually yours. Adoption is a sure-fire way to end up with a living, breathing kid and it helps the kid out too, but there is a ton of red tape and money involved and the child won't be carrying any of your genetic material (if that sort of thing is important to you). IVF might help you if your inner workings are fine but the conception process just isn't working out, but depending on the method your clinic uses there can be major ethical questions involved ( ... )
