After 10 days of antibiotic a-bombs, my rash is clearing and I have stopped sleeping constantly. (Honestly, my sister thought I was dead a number of times, because I would just fall asleep). I'm going to do 4 more days of treatment, per my doctor and the CDC's newest guidelines ( Read more... )

I'm wondering if the tick perhaps travelled in with one of my Foxboro cousins...I think you'd be more likely to find deer there. I hope you start to feel better. I have your trifle bowl and a pair of your pajamas.

Its quite possible that it did... ticks are tricky little buggers. At this point, anything is possible. I had one heck of a time convincing the first dermatologist (in Newton) that deer were not running rampant in Quincy. Nor were bunnies staging a hostile takeover.

I am starting to feel better - I have stopped spontaneously falling asleep, which was what really bothered me.

We should schedule a time to get together, even just to catch up, if not for a double date. This will be easier for me now, since I am awake more than 6 hours a day (5 of which I was working).
