It was panic panic this week at school - OFSTED inspectors had rung up to let us know that the inspectors were coming. The teachers behaved as badly as we students do when, I don't know, we get a surprise exam...They went into panic mode, got really grumpy & edgy, and were just generally weird. Ah we had OFSTED people come round our school last year too and my teachers reacted the same way yours did! Im sure you are very glad that that is all over now! Its so fake when inspectors come round, my teachers created systems were if you put up your right hand when she asked a question it was because you knew the answer and the left for if you didnt so that it looked like she taught everyone well as they all had their hand up! Assemblies are bad, we have them twice a week and occasionally one of the english teachers decides to bring her guitar and sing along...which would be okay if she could sing!

Hope you have a good time at Jen's party. I hear you on the panicking about xmas pressies, im panicking about that too as im very low on money!

Eugh, money money money....I have come up with a scheme...well, my mum did: I'm going to sell decorated homebaked gingerbread men & angels, really nicely packaged, £1 each at some craft fairs to raise some money.

Oh my goodness, that's really funny about your English teacher!! We have assembley 3 times a week, used to have 4 but now I'm in yr10 we get earlier lessons on two days instead. *sigh*

Ohh that idea sounds like a good one, there are normally cake stalls and things at my school most fridays and they always get many buyers especially if they look good and packaged nicely im sure they will sell well!

Oh dear! That sounds like my old school, they used to have assemblies nearly every day but then last year they made the days longer and cut out some assemblies to make the lessons and the day longer! People were not impressed!
