Mostly the emotions--slash is usually great for romance and tenderness or smoking anger and powerplays. It's rarely if ever just about physical acts. Even the most pwp-y story usually has some character ntoes that ring true, or people don't tend to comment.

Also? I read slash about really, really hot guys. That doesn't hurt.
