No, but it pleases me to hear tell of this! His prose is quite lovely and although he mostly writes that *sniff* modern history, I have a number of his books on my shelves just because they're so good.

Not a name that dances actively in my brain (not a Pratchett fan either, but friends are), so I hadn't. I had made a mental note to look up the NY honor rolls at some point soon, though.
