dave, wow, i didn't even know about this journal. (yeah, i kinda scoped it out via that comments tally entry on the other one.. i'm not stalking you, honest..) you write some really good stuff, really good. not how i intended to spend my saturday morning, but it was a nice turn of events. i say, fuck all that stuff about picking up a guitar, because for me, it's always been the artsy boys who write poetry who do it for me. for what it's worth. i've always wanted someone to write a love poem about me, but it's never happened, i've come to the assumption that i just don't leave that lasting impression thing that other girls do. but i asure you, the day a boy does write one about me (should it ever happen) i'd be willing to bet that i would fall head over heels, no question. i used to write a lot more than i do now. now i occasionally turn out the poem or two. actually, you know, you were what broke my writer's block. i hadn't written anything in about three years until i really started to get to know you. yeah, it was during
