I finally went through my coats/gloves/winter hats capsule a week or so ago. There were a few things that I can give away, and a few more than I may put in a "holding zone" since I'm really not using them at present but don't want to give up right away

Oh, I do love berets (or tams!) I love to wear them, and I love to see them being worn.

Once saw an illustration in National Geographic of a Basque beret after it had been knitted but before it had been shrunk and fulled. As I don't knit---much, but then I couldn't knit at all---to me it was a magical thing, being able first to knit a hat at all, and then to be able to gauge the knitted size so that the finished beret would fit.... Marvelous!
