Work seems to be addicting

Somehow I ended up spending my Labor Day working around the house. Finished up the desk stuff, which took a lot longer than I thought it would. It including going through and organizing my CDs and tossing out the jewel cases. (I'm about 5 years behind on this type of organization...)  But now I've got some good stuff handy for my car, and the rest

Sounds like you labored as hard on Labor Day weekend as we did. We're painting the kitchen cabinets, but we didn't nearly finish.

Whew. That is quite a job.

One more coat on the frames and then all the doors and drawer faces...It's not a quick project, but it will look nice. The worst part is that everything is stacked up in the dining room for the nonce. At least I'm smart enough to put the plates, glasses, and silverware on top!

I'll need to start practicing those songs, but I'm not sure it will happen in the next couple of weeks.

It does sound nice! White cabinets are something in the (far distant) future for my kitchen, too.

Absolutely no hurry. It will take me a while to get to the point where I can do them with confidence, without music. Especially since I don't have a deadline.
