Though I find other pictures that show the brim could be either almost flat, or hanging down closer to the face. And I'm not sure if the crown is rounded or square. It looks kind of square from the cut, but on my head it gets a little more rounded. (Of course my head is a little bit of an odd shape, so there's that.) I want to have a decent idea so when I try to steam it (if steaming buckram will work at all) I know what the goal is.
My instinct is that it's late teens to early twenties, but I'm often surprised by how late things I consider "early twenties" can go. I would think it's meant to be curve down that way, too - maybe the variations are by date, like earlier ones curve more?
Thank you! It may be just a matter of looking in the right place. I'm in an area that just doesn't have a very long history. So I'm very fortunate because most of this stuff was sourced in a much older part of the country and literally trucked halfway across to stock a local store. Exciting!

I'm getting more and more excited about the 20s hat! Can you date it more precisely? And I keep going back and forth on exactly how it's supposed to be shaped. I'm guessing is mostly like the one on the left here:
