We had a doozy, from what I've heard--60+ mph winds, hail, heavy rain, several wrecks, downed trees, power outages. In fact, the power was out at work until 11:30 or so. The funny thing (in hindsight, frustrating at the time) was shutting down my computer. The thunder and wind were picking up, the lights were flickering, and here was my computer taking its sweet time to finish its updates and turn off--straight out of Hollywood! I never did lose power, but talk about the element of suspense....

We did get a lovely .25" early Monday morning. Praying for "more, please, Sir."

Isn't that the truth?! They are so persnickety about shutting down when you need them to hurry!
