Since you asked on grammar: while one plays the game with billiard (no s) balls, the game itself is billiards (with the s). Just so's you know :)

Yes, as I am a believer in more or less balanced relationships I thought it recommendable to grant Watson the experience of mastering Holmes in at least ONE way... :)
