"No getting arrested, remember?" Rosette, not quite sure how to take the deadpan attitude right now considering where they were, what they were doing, grinned at him weakly before looking back toward the grave. "...Kinda crazy, isn't it?"
"Yes. I'm not sure if I'd have the balls to look at my own grave," he said, staring at the numbers as if his gaze and wishing could make 'em change. "Are you sure this is you? I mean, you thought it was in New York. Could this be some other Rosette?"
"I...suppose it could be," Rosette said after a moment. "Not sure if many Rosette Christophers were born in '08, though. Not that popular a name, I'd imagine, and when I talked to the sister in New York, she was definately talking about me..."
She paused, looking thoughtful again, before kneeling down. "That would explain why there would be flowers here already. I can't imagine anyone still be around from then that would bother bringing any now, so much later..." She inspected them closely, as if that might answer the question of who brought them...
