Himchan stares out of the window, fingers pressed to the cool glass as he watches the rain bounce off the pavement. He hadn’t expected it to rain, the blue sky had been bare of clouds when he’d left his apartment that morning but now the rain is pouring so hard the road looks like a miniature river. Who’d have thought little Moon Jongup would be right? ‘Damn, that kid should be a weather man’ His traces the path of one of the raindrops as it merges with others then splits into new paths. The small voice in the back of his head wonders if Jongup will be alright walking home. Does he have his umbrella?
Beside him Yongguk chuckles, the arm across the back of Himchan’s chair falling to curl around his waist. His fingers brush tenderly over Himchan’s ribs before settling at his side. ‘A little rain never hurt anyone’ He laughs, reaching with his free hand for his drink. Himchan opens his mouth, ready with some witty remark about drunks drowning in puddles or car accidents on wet roads when Yongguk smears cream across the tip of his nose. The ulzzang pouts, cheeks flushing a soft pink and Yongguk watches in amusement as he tries to touch his tongue to his nose. Yongguk can’t resist smearing a stripe above his lip. ‘Yah, Guk’ The brunette laughs, hitting the elder’s shoulder and reaches for a napkin.
Yongguk stops him, hand closing over Himchan’s and the napkin. ‘Let me’ He smiles, voice soft as he leans in and licks the cream from Himchan’s nose. The blush on Himchan’s cheeks deepens and he tilts his head ever so slightly as Yongguk laps the cream from his lip. He lets go of Himchan’s hand to cup his nape and keeps the other in place as he presses their lips together for a short kiss. ‘I don’t think the rain is going to stop anytime soon’ He hums; dropping his hand to Himchan’s thigh. He decides not to mention the large umbrella tucked away in his backpack.
