The idea for this WIP came while reading an article about historical medical practices in the UK. Then I thought about reincarnation. Then I thought about Mike Stamford. I love older times (but not ancient) AU's. That feeling of familiar-but-not makes me remember The Dragons of Pern books very fondly. Is this really how it used to be?
Mike's situation here is very interesting. I wonder how he came to be "the matchmaker", as it were, and his conversation with his God makes me think that the association between Sherlock and John never quite stuck before.
I feel like I'm not going very deep here, but what can you do?
