Not yet 24hr, but he's a creature of habit so we know something's up. He had dinner yesterday, but neither dinner nor breakfast today.

Could just be a major strop on his part; I guess we'll see.

Is he an indoor/outdoor cat? If he has a favoite jingly toy walk around the house with it enticing him out of hiding. Otherwise, try doing it outside?

He's very much an outdoor cat, and it's very unlikely he's inside anywhere - we've checked the obvious places.

Generally he does come back when food is on offer, which is what makes it strange.
