I will admit that this one... this one sticks in my memory because I remember it was one of the first moments when I really loved Amita ( ... )

I'm currently writing a FF story that harks back to Backscatter, so this is a particular favourite of mine. And any episode with Gary Walker in is always worth watching - top character! *Has to go watch it AGAIN to get some of the technical details right...well, that's my excuse and I'm stickin' to it!*

A real exciting story from beginning to end!

Oh, the dumbfounded look on Don's face when he calls his bank and discovers that his account is empty. And I'm impressed that Alan just happens to have over $65 in his pocket.

Love Larry's confusion regarding where he's attending a conference. "he's so geographically challenged."

David looks hot with his henley shirt hiked up over his holster in the scene when he and Don scope out the auto parts store.

Character growth! Charlie faces the Russian mob with calmness and ingenuity, using his class as a resource. He has definitely matured since he first started working with Don. And ultimately, his decisions and investigation let him stand up to Don, too.

David: "Amita, what's a nice mathematician like you doing in a garage like this?"

Love when Gary Walker socks the bad guy in the nose!

Great episode - one of my favourite of season 2. Wonderful brothers scenes: we see how similar they can be - both so stubborn and determined.
I also liked the fact that Don admitted that the Russians scared him (the scene in the van with the bank director and Ltd Walker). Again, he is presented as a normal guy, not a super hero and I loved that about this show: all characters were totally credible.
