Fic challenge!
Hey all! I'm a firm believer in ripping off other people's ideas, so I'm taking a page from spn_dailylife (and probably a thousand other fic challenges, for that matter) for this fic challenge.
I've come up with a list of single-word prompts. What you guys do is pick a number, and I'll tell you what the corresponding prompt is. Sound simple? I hope so. :-)
First, though, here are the rules and due dates:
Stories must meet comm criteria--that is, they must have a het pairing central to the story. As always, all pairings (including OFCs and OMCs) and ratings are fine, as long as everything is marked clearly in headings. See the userinfo for more information.
Stories should be at least 500 words, although it's no big deal if you can't quite make that (try five connected drabbles, maybe, if you're having trouble).
Stories are due on May 1st. That gives you a whole month. If you know me at all, you know I'm pretty lenient, so don't stress over the deadline. At the same time, I'm also pretty good at nagging, so try to get as close as you can.
Stories may be posted to the comm as they are finished--you don't have to wait until the deadline if you've finished early. Moreover, if you wish to claim another prompt after you finish one, you're more than welcome to do so.
If you claim a prompt but decide for whatever reason that you can't write the story, let me know so I can open the prompt up to somebody else. If you hate your prompt (though I can't imagine such a thing actually happening), I'll let you change it once.
Prompts may be claimed at any time before May 1st.
