Matt Li worked with electronics. When he got home, he flipped on the tv, nuked something for dinner and turned on his computer to check his email.
Sometimes it was hard to tell the difference between being at work and being at home.
Wanting a change of pace, he bought some books on his way home. The next day, he fixed fettunine alfredo and salad for dinner. Then he turned off everything electrical, except for one lamp. He settled down with some iced tea and began reading the first chapter of his new novel... "It was Wang Lung's wedding day..."
