A/N 2: First Drabble of 2010! w00t!
The wind whipped Amita's hair into her face, partially blinding her. Now and then, the Catalina Flyer would drop into the trough of a wave, leaving Amita with no footing, much like a cartoon character walking off the edge of a cliff.
The flight never lasted long. Gravity always arranged a quick reunion with the deck.
However, the brief disconnect gave Amita a feeling of weightlessness, much like the "vomit comet" that NASA used. However, she didn't feel nauseated, but exhilarated.
She made it to the ferry's bow, leaned against the railing, extended her arms and flew into the wind.
