Charlie and Amita stood patiently in line for the Catalina Flyer. Amita was feeling excited, so she began to sing. "Twenty-six miles across the sea, Santa Catalina is a-waiting for me! Santa Catalina, the island of romance!"
Charlie said. "You realize..."
Amita hushed him with a kiss.
"Hrmph?" said Charlie.
"If you tell me that the trip from this dock is closer to twenty-two miles, you will be sleeping on the floor."
Charlie took the hint.
When they got on board, they ran up three flights of stairs so they could sit with the wind whipping their hair into knots.
