Broadway!!!!!!

So this past weekend, I saw three Broadway shows in two days!!! So fun. I had tickets for "Hair" on Saturday and "Wicked" on Sunday. Then on Saturday evening, spur of the moment, we went to the TKTS booth and got half price tickets for "In the Heights"!  Wow!

Hair is easily one of my faves. First musical I ever saw. Oh, the good old days of the Broadway Musical Company touring Germany... *happysigh*

I love Wicked. Have seen it once so far, but it's coming to a theatre that's only about one and a half hour to drive, so I'll definitely see it again!

I have never heard about In the Heights. Is it based on a book or something?

In the Heights is not based on a book (I don't think so at least). It takes place in Washington Heights in NYC, which is a mostly Hispanic neighborhood. Its a contemporary play about people who all live in the area.

Ah, a play! I thought it was a musical too, my bad! But sounds good! Love plays too!

I got two Wicked icons after seeing the show. Loved it too much. *g*
