A short Quenya translation I did for Eledhwen's signature at the Middle Earth site:

Quettalmar autar Isil pella, quettalmar autar i lumbulennar, i sírë lirë oialë ...
Our words go beyond the moon, our words go into the shadows, the river sings the endlessness ...

The words are from a song on Enya's Amarantine album ( Read more... )

tai chi, eledhwen, quenya

Ooo.. Tai Chi! I took a class in that and loved it.

After the three forms we were taught plus some stepping practice - my body had had enough. Not too sore, but my muscles sure knew they'd done some work.

As our class went on, I got more and more of a workout to the point I was sweating at the end of class. It really teaches you balance and grace... must have been developed by some elves ;)

think the key will be to remember accurately what I've learnt in the class and be able to replicate the moves the same way at home.
(We weren't given any material to remind us of the moves.)

Karolyn, a friend from work who also took the class, and I would take a notepad and pencil to class. At every break and after the class, we would write down the movements as our instructure said them in class. Then we complied our notes together so we could practice. Perhaps that might help
