Disorienting Day
I had a day off work today. A day in which I've been immersed, and then removed, from three different 'realities'. Hence the disorientation.
Firstly, at work (though not 'working' - key point!) I ran a print test of the film Public Enemies, so entered the world of Depression-era bank robber John Dillinger and the FBI agents trying to catch him. ( Read more... )

I'm obsessing about the movie The Secret Life of Bees. Mainly because I bought it a week ago and still haven't had a chance to watch it. >:(

Gosh, I've been meaning to do a shout-out to a number of people (you being one of them), just to say 'hi, how are ya ... no I havne't fallen off the face of the earth'. Obviously, I hadn't gotten around to that yet. Sorry. ;)
The actors in the Apollo 13 show were really fantastic. The gadgetry was wonderful and all, but the actors really made up believe! :) The website is pretty nifty if you have time to look at it.
