Strange satisfaction

OK, I don't know if I should be worried or not. But I just experienced some of the strongest satisfaction I have ever experienced because I got all 120 stars on Mario 64. I think I should be worried. I'm never going to mature and I'm never going to get a job and my life will suck forever...all because of Mario. Damn you, you wop plumber. ( Read more... )

there is something extremely satisfying about getting all 120 stars.You feel like there is nothing that game can throw at you that you can't handle. Have you been to the top of the castle yet?

Haha, those damned stars stole my boyfriend from me. We went up to the castle, and had fun watching yoshi commit suicide. WOOHOOO! Man, KP, i've been fricking listening to FF music on the radio ALLLLL DAY! i get home on the 13th of march. See me, dood.

This reminds me of a very famous Gary Larson comic:
The scene has two parents looking over their childs shoulders as he is playing Mario 1. The parents are dreaming about possible want ads that read, "Can you save the Princess? $75,000 + house." etc. The tagline reads, "Parents Dreams."
Makes ya think, doesn't it?

Works kinda the same with musicians. Can you play trumpet? Jack squat + lean-to. "Parent's nightmares"

My cousin Emily is 24, and she ended up crying tears of joy when she got the 120 stars on Mario 64.
