I feel your pain, yes indeed! I hate editing, so things are pretty rough when I'm happy to do it because it means I don't have to write for a while :(

Never mind, it'll suddenly come together and make you love it in the end (after scarring you and making you want to cry)

It's never fun when your two main characters decide they don't want to tell you how they came together and that's kinda the whole point of the story...

I'm getting there, but it's a bit like yanking molars. Or prying the One Ring out of a hobbit's hand...

You're right that it came together at the end (like if I pushed it any further, my Beta and Artist would have killed me), but ultimately, I'm actually pretty happy with how it worked out!
