What worries me the most is that she was not wearing a lab coat and she had a synthetic sweater on. She could have also rolled onto the floor to quench the burning, but maybe she did not have that kind of training in elementary school.
Good point. I should stop wearing my polyester fleece to lab (I just took it off, actually). Very few people wear lab coats, and they usually only do when they're working with something particularly gross. Fabric is just not something people talk about.
One time this guy in my high school bio class spilled alcohol all over his white shirt and then caught on fire and he took it off and then stomped the fire out. Remarkably, he was unscathed.
One time this guy in my high school bio class put a fetal pig kidney in his mouth for $5. Remarkably, he squandered the money on two personal pan pizzas.
