That was somewhat normal? Ha ha ha. I am kidding of course. Well..I hope you dont give up graduate school because once you are in, the quality of the job you do does not matter as much as whether you enjoy what you are doing (I am saying this with the assumption that things will get better over time). And wear safety goggles :) And dont put flammable chemicals on unsturdy shelves. And dont mix the acids and the bases real quickly..
