Somehow in 3 sentences you were able to remind me of several things:

1. How beautiful and mysterious the world can be.
2. How much I long to go to the beach at night, and feel at once tiny and infinite, alone but not lonely.
3. How beautiful and weird and wonderful octopusses are.
4. How terribly, terribly I miss you.

Court and I are coming to Maine for Thanksgiving. I would like nothing more than if we were able to see you, even if just for an afternoon.

I'm with you on that, except maybe not Northampton this time, since I think that was a big part of making me crazy back then. It would be fantastic for us to all live in approximately the same area again.
