Heeeey, we've done that! It's pretty impressive - the water practically vaporizes in mid-air. Blowing bubbles is also fun; they freeze immediately and smush-crumble when they hit the ground.

As long as the power doesn't go out, most of use midwesterners are fine. A friend of mine in Main is dealing with frozen pipes and so a lack of water, however. Tis chilly. But! We're all the way up to 9 degrees, which is like 20-25 degrees warmer than it's been the last three days.

that's so cool!
frozen bubbles!!

my parents who live in central fla had their pipes frozen and they couldn't get water... that's just so odd to me! :)

What does that FEEl like?

It feels like your lungs burning when you breathe in. That's the biggest difference. Exposed skin burns for a while, then goes numb pretty quick. Parts that are covered feel pretty much like they normally do.

ugh - that's just horrid!
I hate that when my face goes all numb and then my nose won't stop running!

It's been pretty chilly here the last few days... high of like 61 (which is cold for south fla!) and then lows in the low 40s i think...
I know that's nothing to you all negative degree peoples, but man it's too cold! :)

Heh. Our high today is supposed to be 61, and I have my windows open to let in the warm air. :D
